Hogan To Star In Kids Court Show

Who would have thought this was a possibility a few years ago? According to a report, Hulk will be starring in the new kids live-action game show "Hogan's Court" from indie producers Skywriter Media and Entertainment Group, Positive Productions and Lenz Entertainment. The show, created by Christopher Greaves, Asher Lenz and Jason Armstrong, will feature Hogan presiding over sibling disputes.

In a statement about the show, Hogan said "I am really looking forward to developing such an entertaining series with great production partners," He added "We want this to be one of those rare shows that kids and their families can watch together, and all find something to laugh about."

The series co-producers plan 26 half-hour episodes for the first season, targeted at an 8-12 age demo.

Skywriter will start shopping Hogans Court for pre-sales at MIPCOM.

6/3 Impact does .87 Rating

Thursday's episode of TNA Impact drew a 0.87 rating, with 1,052,000 viewers.

The rating trend had been slowly going up since the move back to Thursday, but last week's episode ran into game 1 of the NBA Finals. The Finals game was the most watched since 2004, and TNA's rating took a hit because of it. Unfortunately for TNA, the next two Impact ratings may be effected by the NBA Finals.

R.I.P. Chris Kanyon

Chris Klucsaritis, who is better known by his wrestling name Chris Kanyon, has died of an overdose of pills. He was 40. The death is believed to be a suicide. Klucsaritis was very open about suffering from bipolar disorder, and had talked about and threatened suicide many times in the past.

We here at Blogamania would like to extend our condolences to Chris' loved ones. May he rest in peace.

Bonus - perhaps the only or one of the few times Kanyon shared the ring with Hulk.

3/29 Impact Gets .6 Rating

TNA Impact did a .56 rating on Monday (off hours of .53 and .60). The show's 18-34 viewers were down a stunning 53.5% from last week while total viewers were down 30%.

You have to wonder if the TNA brass are starting to feel like they were in over their heads. Or...do they feel like they just have a slow burner on their hands.

Brooke Hogan Shopping In Miami On 3/15

No idea who the broad with her is. Its not Linda.

3/15 Impact Does .8 Rating

Impact did a .84 rating off hours of .88 and .80 and averaged 1.1 million viewers, an overall decrease of 21.4% in viewership from last week. Impact opened with a .84. In a very troubling sign for TNA, the AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy main event was the lowest rated segment of the entire show with a .72 with the overrun doing a .74.

It may be worth noting that this week's episode was taped and going against a strong Raw, headlined by Stone Cold Steve Austin guest hosting. Still, it couldn't have been fun for TNA to hear that number.
