"MMA is spanking the WWE as far as the pay-per-view stuff," Hogan told FanHouse on Tuesday. "Dana White and the UFC has done an amazing job, and it's all about timing. The UFC was ready to close its doors, they were losing a ton of money, they were going under, they were getting ready to go out of business, and then they did a reality show called, The Ultimate Fighter. They developed the characters; they made people care about the fighters; the people found out who the fighters were; they breathed life into the fighters. That's what I want to do with TNA. They've got the best talent in the world down there, but no one is breathing life into the characters."Not only will Hogan be appearing on TNA television in a role he describes as, "the Vince McMahon of TNA," he also said that he will be running the show creatively behind-the-scenes. It is there that the 56-year-old will look to emulate what the UFC has been able to accomplish over the past decade.
“My marriage to Linda was very toxic and very negative. Jennifer (his current girlfriend) is just the opposite, she doesn’t drink or get high on drugs,” Hogan told Tarts in an exclusive interview. “If you’re in my home and watching TV, you have to watch the science channel or the history channel or cartoons. She doesn’t watch anything negative like the news or TMZ. She doesn’t read the newspaper. She always walks in the Spirit of Christ, she never deviates. I can really see myself marrying this woman.”Read More Here
Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan revisited the idea of doing an overseas tour about eight months ago and after considering shows in Europe and South Africa, they had talks with Reno Anoa'i, the brother of Rikishi. Reno promoted the Nu Wrestling Evolution promotion overseas and is working with Hogan's Hulkamania tour. He hooked Hogan and Bischoff up with promoters Patrick and Michael Condon who struck a deal to hold the tour in Australia. The promoters have connections in China and there is talk of expanding the tour or running a show in Macau, China but nothing is official yet.
According to Bischoff, there are no plans right now to do a North American pay-per-view as he feels it would be a tough sell no matter how good the tour is without weekly TV in North America to promote it. There are talks of releasing some DVD's though but nothing is official on that yet either.
While it may appear that Dixie is completely behind Russo, there was talk within TNA that she would be willing to fire him had her recent negotiations with Hulk Hogan led to him signing a contract. Hogan apparently still will not work with Russo, and one story making the rounds is that he wanted Kevin Sullivan and Kevin Nash to be the bookers if he was to join TNA. The deal obviously never went through and it appears that talks between the two sides are finished.
The two have been talking together for months about starting a new promotion aside from the Celebrity Championship Wrestling series they did for CMT.
It is being reported that the promotion will kick off in Australia, beginning November 21 at the Rod Liver Arena in Melbourne, then November 24 at the SuperDome in Perth, and finally November 28 at the Acer Arena in Sydney.
Co-promoting the events locally are Condon Sports and Entertainment as well as KnoxK Pro Entertainment. Hogan will begin a promotional tour in the country later this month with tickets going on sale September 24.
Aside from Hogan, no other names have been announced for the promotion.
"It's kind of interesting now to have about 30 years of this wrestling history under my belt and kind of look back and see the Rocks and the Stone Colds pass through for a couple of years," Hogan said via phone on Monday. To read the full article, Click Here
"I put so much time in and so many people were like 40 or 50 years old, and now are 70 and 80 years old.
"There's a whole group of kids that know me from 'Hogan Knows Best' 'Brooke Knows Best.' There's such a wide range of ages that know me.
"It's really neat that these people have been watching me for years, and the new people are so loyal."
Perez, if Brooke continues to spew lies on behalf of her father's lame attempt to distance himself from the reality that he is no different from the homicidal OJ Simpson, Charlie will be forced to put aside his paramedic/firefighting career path and release an album called "Redemption" which will easily surpass any of Brooke's records sales.
Brooke has always had a problem telling the truth. If it is her claim that her breasts are natural or she hasn't been banging the crap out of the pot head $tack for the last 3 years, then her comments of Charlie being a year and a half younger than her are again a complete fabrication (they are 4 months apart). She only judges Charlie because of his long hair and age, Linda doesn't judge.
Here are some cold hard facts; these people who say Linda is doing drugs are friends of Hulk Hogan. Brooke is Hulk's only remaining mouthpiece and a pawn in his game of control. Linda will walk into any drug testing facility and take a random test and the truth will be she is clean. Put your money where your mouth is Brooke aka Hulk. Brooke "thinks" she's doing drugs is a hypocrisy when her father and $tack are rolling and Smoking joints together in Brooke's recording session, and Brooke knows it. As for Charlie, he is an accomplished Spring board diver (4th in the Nationals), eagle scout and certified captain in commercial boating with his bigger goal of joining the fire department. Linda's definition of a good time is hitting a 8:30 am mass at St Max's grabbing some Cuban food at Versailles (her fav). We aren't here to kiss anyone's ass but Linda would love spend a fun California day with Perez with or without that famous garlic chicken, but you have to go to mass.

I grasped the side of the car with my hands when I finally saw Nick my only son folded up like an accordion with his head down by the gas pedal. I could see he was alive . . . for a second I was relieved. Then the chaos set in. The noise of engines and sirens. A saw. Paramedics pulling his friend John from the seat. So much blood. I can't describe how panicked I was. The police and firefighters surrounding us seemed panicked, too. The firefighters started cutting the side of the car open. I'm still standing there when I hear my boy screaming, 'No, no, no, stop! Stop! You're gonna cut my legs off. Dad! Just unbuckle the seat belt . . . !' So I reach in and I push the button on his seat belt, and Nick crawls out. His wrist was broken. His ribs were cracked. None of that mattered. He was gonna be OK. But not John. John wasn't moving. The book was bid on by various publishers, and Hogan inked a six-figure contract with St. Martin's. It's an estimated 320 pages with a 16-page color photo insert.
PINELLAS COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- Edward James Graziano, father of the man injured in the Nick Bollea automobile crash, has been arrested and accused of plotting to kill his estranged wife Debra.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, the arrest came as a result of a two-and-a-half month investigation in which Graziano is alleged to have held multiple meetings and negotiations with a tipster and an undercover detective posing as go-between to a hit man in order to solicit the murder of his wife.
Authorities said he later paid to have the crime committed.
According to detectives Graziano, 53, paid $1,100 in cash, another $1,000 in a personal check and a $13 gift card to Westshore Pizza to have his estranged wife murdered.
The Criminal Investigative Division began its investigation in mid-December.
Detectives believe the motive was divorce/financial related. They also say Graziano wanted Debra killed in an automobile accident.
Bay News 9 is told Debra and her lawyer were informed of the investigation in December.
Graziano was arrested at his home in Palm Harbor Thursday morning.
The Graziano's son John was severely injured in August of 2007 while riding in Nick Bollea's Toyota in Clearwater. The crash resulted in Bollea pleading no contest on reckless driving charges and being sentenced to eight months in the Pinellas County jail.
The Graziano family later filed a lawsuit against the Bollea family.
In the midst of the proceedings surrounding that lawsuit, Debra and Edward wound up in court to dispute the care and guardianship of their son.
